Our Founder Elizabeth Beroes

Professional

Elizabeth A. Beroes is the founder of Beroes Law Center, P.C. where her areas of practice include family law, criminal law, estates and personal injury (female issues). Elizabeth practices in Allegheny, Washington, Westmoreland, Lawrence, Beaver, Butler and Fayette Counties.

  

She has handled thousands of proceedings including Child and/or Spousal Support cases, Protection from Abuse Orders, Contempt Petitions for enforcement of Court Orders, Children Youth and Families cases including Juvenile adjudications and Adoptions and Guardianship matters.  She has tried complex criminal and civil matters involving juries and monetary, punitive and other awards.

  

Elizabeth previously lectured at the University of Buffalo Creative Problem Solving Institute and for the Stepping Out Program at high schools around the city of Pittsburgh. She also is involved in a mentoring program through Allegheny County-Child Advocate Training.

 

Elizabeth lectures for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and the National Business Institute.  Past topics have included:

  • Shared Custody
  • Complex issues in Divorce
  • Preparing and Drafting of QDROs
  • Bankruptcy Issues for Domestic Relations Lawyers 

For all lectures, she drafted the course materials, with the collaboration of other Attorneys and Experts.

Ms. Beroes received her B.S. degree from the University of Pittsburgh and her J.D. degree from Capital University, Columbus, Ohio.

 

She worked as a Public Defender for 6 years following her becoming admitted to the practice of law and, thereafter opened the Beroes Law Center in 1992.

Elizabeth is a life long Pittsburgh resident, where she lives with her Husband and children.
