Beroes Law Center just received a new decision from the Court of Common Pleas relating to child support Orders and parents ability to pay child support dispite their claim that they cant pay because they are receiving public assistance (welfare).

Now we have the tools in our arsenal to break down the barriers when "deadbeat" parents claim they cant support their own children.

Mom's or Dad's cannot use the Welfare System as a crutch to claim that since they are receiving public assistance they cannot work therefore should be completely relieved of any obligation to pay child support.

The Court agreed with Beroes Law Center that a parent should still be required to pay - get a job or find assets or income to support their own children.
