Attorney Morris was born and raised in Scranton, PA. In 1986, he made Pittsburgh his new home, ultimately settling in Carnegie in 1991. He is a member of the Lackawanna Bar Association (Scranton) and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and past member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice (PaJ). He attends the First Primitive Methodist Church of Carnegie where he serves on its Board of Trustees (2003 to present) and is also the Church’s Delegate to its national conference (2011 to present). Mr. Morris is a Member, Advisor and Vice-President of the Historical Society of Carnegie. He was a volunteer coach/manager for Youth Softball in the Carnegie Athletic Association, where he also served as treasurer (1998 to 2006). He has been a past presenter for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s course on dog bite laws and the National Business Institute's course on probate.

He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1986, earning a B.A. in Political Science; and received his Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law in 1990, and was admitted to practice in Pennsylvania in December of 1990. Attorney Morris is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania (1990) and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit (1995). While in law school, Attorney Morris was a legal research and writing teaching assistant. In addition, he was also a resident assistant for Duquesne’s Office of Residence Life.

Prior to joining the Beroes Law Center, he maintained a private practice, and was the Judicial Law Clerk for Allegheny County Common Pleas Judges Susan Evashavik DiLucente and Timothy Patrick O’Reilly (now Senior Judge) from January 1996 through February 2015.
