The Compassionate Legal Help You Need

Pennsylvania families come to Beroes Law Center for help with all manner of family law issues, including divorce and custody matters, child support, adoptions for stepparents and same-sex couple adoptions, as well as estate planning and probate needs. Our firm has offices in the Bloomfield/Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh.

We’re A Family That Practices Family Law

Our family law firm was founded in 1992 by attorney Elizabeth Ann Beroes. Elizabeth’s father was an attorney and Elizabeth carries on the family legacy. In fact, her daughter Julie Beroes is an attorney at the firm, and her son Stephen Beroes-Timmis is the law clerk for the firm. Our team is rounded out by our wonderful and talented paralegal Shanice Williams.

We treat our clients like family, too. Our offices have a comfortable atmosphere that is child-friendly. We have a play area for children with a TV and games as well as a kitchen stocked with snacks. This relaxed setting often helps children and adults open up and talk to us about difficult family law issues.

Beroes Law Center has tried cases in all area courts, including Allegheny County, Armstrong County, Beaver County, Butler County, Crawford County, Cambria County, Erie County, Lawrence County, Washington County, Greene County, Fayette County, and Westmoreland County.

How Beroes Law Center Is Different

Communication is a vital element of all of our cases. We want our clients to be able to talk to us, especially when they have questions and concerns. We effectively strive to provide a non-judgmental atmosphere of honesty so that our clients can speak openly with us and divulge necessary details of their family dynamic.

Our lawyers are skilled and experienced trial lawyers who will take cases to court when that is in the client’s best interests. When needed, however, our approach to the law may involve resolving matters through negotiation or mediation. We will discuss your options thoroughly with you so you can make an informed decision about how to move forward. Whether you are hoping to reach an agreement out of court or take the opposition to trial, we can help.
